About Bible Comics
Bible Comics is a small, growing library of comic strips drawn from the characters, stories, and teachings of scripture — Old Testament and New Testament alike.
How the comics are made
Every page is hand-storyboarded — six panels, a title, a scripture reference, a caption — and then illustrated using AI image generation (currently Pollinations.ai with the Flux model). Each series carries its own visual style: ink-wash watercolour for the parables, sun-bleached oil for the wilderness epics, and so on. Pages are composited with Pillow so typography, layout, and overlay text remain consistent and readable.
Because the panel art is generated by an AI model, characters and scenes are interpretations rather than literal depictions. We work hard to keep the imagery reverent and faithful to the text, but small inconsistencies are inevitable.
Languages
The site's navigation, titles, and descriptions are bilingual (English / 中文). The panel typography inside each comic — captions, titles, speech bubbles — is currently English only. Chinese panel versions are a planned future addition.
